Personalized travel itinerary in the making

This 12-day personalized itinerary invites travelers who wish to practice and refine their Spanish language skills to fully immerse themselves in the culture and daily life of the Bajío region. Throughout this program, guests will explore the roots of Mexican history—including the Independence Movement—alongside colonial architecture, UNESCO World Heritage sites, ancestral traditions, and local arts and gastronomy.

Program Highlights:

  • Guanajuato: Discover iconic buildings through guided tours of the Casa Diego Rivera, the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, and the Teatro Juárez. The experience includes a watercolor master class, visits to local markets and engraving workshops, and a traditional Callejoneada (a lively street singing and dancing performance).
  • Dolores Hidalgo: Known as the "Cradle of Mexican Independence," this stop offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the country’s most significant national holiday alongside locals, complete with a traditional tequila toast and a spirited "¡Viva México!"
  • San Miguel de Allende: Visit the "Mexican Sistine Chapel" (the Atotonilco Sanctuary) and the Charco del Ingenio botanical garden. Travelers will enjoy a history-focused city tour, participate in a metalwork workshop led by a master artisan, and gain exclusive access to the private ateliers of traditional and contemporary artists.
  • Querétaro: Tour the city's most iconic buildings and enjoy an evening street theater performance featuring local myths and legends. Guests will participate in a hands-on cooking class and embark on a day trip to the Sierra Gorda, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, to explore diverse landscapes ranging from arid scrublands to lush cloud forests and tropical canyons.

Throughout the journey, the itinerary balances structured activities with time to leisurely stroll the historic streets of Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo, San Miguel de Allende, and Querétaro. We prioritize the local economy by sourcing regional products and services, ensuring that your travel experience directly benefits the communities you visit.
